How it works
You can calculate the code using the VIN (vehicle identification number) or the serial number of the radio.
Locating the serial number
Find the serial number on the label attached to the side of your radio. This label is not visible until you take out the radio. Example of a few valid serials:
Removing your radio
You can remove the radio using four thin screwdrivers or anything else that is thin enough to fit into the removal holes. Once inside, push in opposite directions while pulling out. For details check this Youtube video.
Locating your VIN
You can find the 17 characters VIN on the documents or on the body of the car. The location of this identification number differs by model but you can usually see it on the lower driver's side of the windshield, in the engine compartment or in the door well. Sample of a valid VIN: VF13SRAP119501302
